Im also worried about once i have found a safe foods i dont want to react to that food so cant eat it all the time. Ive also found that if i dont eat at all - i have my symptoms greatly reduced?

Hi Try a rotary diversified

Hi
Try a rotary diversified diet - sounds fancy but just means rotate your foods carefully. For example; eat chicken and broccoli at lunch on Monday and dont eat either again until Friday. Eat salmon and asparagus on Tuesday and dont eat either again until Saturday. Keep notes on how you feel after each meal. It takes a bit of planning and a bit of diligence but soon you may be able to work out that you feel better with salmon and poorly with chicken. The way to keep your food "safe" is to eat as large a variety as you possibly can - I didnt and I am now on a very limited diet. Learn about food families - for example broccoli , cauliflower, cabbage are all one family and you should leave 3 clear days before eating a food from the same family again. A few books I have invested in which are really helpful are If this is Tuesday it must be chicken - Natalie Golos and Frances Golos Golbitz, 5 years without food - the food allergy survival guide - Nicole M Dumke, Coping with your allergies - Natalie Golos and Frances Golos Golbitz. If you are going to choose only one - buy Nicole Dumke's book. Also when you settle into a planned menu you might consider tightenening your diet even further - eliminate sugar including fruit and all grains - prepare for a downward turn which is a good sign and after you get over that you will probably find you improve. You are already on the right track because you know that if you dont eat you feel better - me too! Good Luck.
