Hello there. I am looking for help with finding the right probiotic. My trigger foods are dairy, gluten, yeast and sugar. Soy and legumes have not shown on tests to be trigger foods but I still am not confident to eat it.
About 6 months ago I had to take some antibiotics. My doctor gave me a priobiotic to take but it didn't list the ingredients and I have not felt great since then. My left leg has been very shaky and in fact I think that it is getting worse.
Has anyone found an effective probiotic safe for those with my trigger foods?
Thank You, Mary Beth
Mary Beth, I use Giant Eagle
Mary Beth,
I use Giant Eagle brand Probiotic Acidophilus which states Gluten free on the label. The label doesn't specifically state dairy, soy, or yeast-free, but the ingredients label doesn't contain any of those triggers. I have the same triggers as you and this hasn't caused me any problems. Directions state to take one capsule daily. I don't take it that often unless after a course of antibiotics. Normally, I only take when I think my digestion seems to need some help getting back on track. I hope this helps.

Judi- How many do you take?

How many do you take? Ashton Embry's site recommends that you take two with every meal - but this bottle only indicates 2/day.
Thanks!
