I eat Goji Berries on cereal and a glass of fruit smoothie with flax oil most every day and this keeps me regular enough. If I need a little extra help I eat Linseed usually on cereal or salad and a cup of fresh decaf coffee is good for something that is fast acting. works for me anyway, and beats laxative. I read somewhere that a certain type of liquorice helps but I never could find the right one.
good listening to the biofeedback of your body , i get major spasms when i eat wheat ,
ken
ps try millet or rice bread is not to bad , make sure it has no yeast
I was wondering, is constipation a consequence of MS or because wrong food had been ingested?
I get constipated after consuming anything with wheat in it (have a food sensitivity to wheat).
So I was thinking that one of the ways to get rid of constipation is to get on the right diet. No need for any special constipation relieving treatments necessary anymore.
And the constipation doesn't come suddenly let's say, takes 24hr to take effect after eating culprit food (no bowel movements) and takes 48hr to sometimes 3 days (!!!!) to wear off!
Also consuming wheat gives me right away mild MS symptoms, buzzing on my arm and leg, so wheat is definitely a problematic food and probably was the initial trigger to my MS and hopefully the only one.
