I recently started The MS Recovery Diet... one of the recipes calls for carob powder. When I went to purchase it, I also bought some carob chips. However, I later learned that carob is actually a legume. Does anyone know why carob powder is okay? I am assuming the carob chips are not... especially since they contain soy lecithin. I have read that the lecithin is not usually highly allergenic, however it seems that I do have a sensitivity to even that.
