Foods that reduce inflammation?

Hi All,

I have chronic back and neck pain these days. I know Omega 3s are supposed to be good for inflammation but does anyone know of other foods that can help reduce inflammation?

Thanks,
Jason

Jason, Another good

Jason,
Another good resource for this type of information is Dr. Andrew Weil's book titled "Healthy Aging" There are chapters specifically related to inflammation.I found it very helpful. Hope this helps.
Tumeric and Ginger are anti-inflammatory as well as the Mediterranean diet.

Nicole S. Jason, I have

Nicole S.

Jason, I have suffered with neck and head pain almost all my life, unrelated to ms, but tortuous. I started the diet in April. In July, I noticed my headaches were less frequent, less severe, and easier to get rid of. Last week, I started having them again, and figured out that a new sorbet I was eating almost every night was too much refined sugar for me. Fruits don't seem to bother me. So try really getting strict with the sugar and see if it helps. But that may not be it for you. Judi, I believe, also used to suffer from headaches, but no longer does, according to the book.

Jason, Cherries help with

Jason,
Cherries help with inflammation. You can either eat the cherries or buy cherry juice and then add 2 tbsp. of juice to one glass of water.
Hope this helps,
Nanna
