Hi everyone.
I thought i`d mention this as i`ve been incorporating this way of eating into the diet for the last 3 weeks and have found it has made a great deal of difference to my digestion. I know it might not be for everyone, but if like myself you suffer with digestive problems it`s worth trying.
It sounds quite complicated at first, but once you get the basics it makes quite a lot of sense. The general idea is not to mix proteins and carbohydrates at the same meal, as the body digests acids and alkalines differently. This original concept comes from the Hay diet, and you can find information on this on the web.
I first heard about this a couple of years ago, when i bought a book about another remarkable lady, who has also managed to control and reverse her ms with diet, in a way not unsimilar to the recovery diet, but using food combining. It is called curing the incurable, by Jacque C Rigg ( hope i`ve spelt it right! ) and it`s a wonderful read.
Hope this is of interest, let me know how you get on if anyone gives it a go!!
Regards Sarah.
